Health and Beauty Store Manager
ROLE:
Under the supervision of the Regional Sales Manager, the Manager conveys the values of the Brand while operating the Beauty Center and guarantees that all means will be taken to achieve and surpass the sales objectives of the Beauty Centre.
Sales Management:
Ensure objectives are met and exceeded regarding sales, Loyalty Card, ID rate, average check and productivity per hour:
Communicate the sales objectives and the promotional campaigns to the team
Ensure objectives are met and exceeded for sales in the 3 Strategic Families: Skin Care, Fragrance and Make-Up
Analyze and react daily to the sales results and take action as necessary
Plan and execute events throughout the month to maximize sales
Ensure a minimum of staff to reach objectives
Communicate and follow the internal incentives and contests
Convert cabin client to products and product client to cabin by optimizing their potential
Manage appointment book to optimize sales and productivity
Guarantee the quality of customer service within the established norms of the Beauty Centre
Manage customer complaints
Ensure customer satisfaction
Skills Development - Human Resources:
Responsible of all Human Resources activities concerning the staff to build a winning team:
Recruit employees according to the job description and validate choice with the Regional Sales Manager
Train, develop and optimize the potential of new employees
Coach, motivate and provide support to all employees
Resolve conflicts with employees
Establish and ensure the personalized development plan of each employee and follow up each quarter
Create and maintain a good ambience and team spirit in the Beauty Centre
Prepare and maintain employees files including any warnings, verbal and written
Delegate tasks
Transmit the required documents to the Human Resources when an employee is hired and fired
Plan the vacations of all employees in accordance with the activity of the Beauty Centre
Ensure company standards in appearance, grooming and uniform
BEAUTY CENTRE MANAGER
Marketing –Brand-Image:
Ensure that the sales claim and selling techniques are followed
Communicate the values of the Company Brand in the Beauty Centre
Follow and respect the permanent merchandising norms
Develop the client files for products and cabin
Execute changes in a timely manner
Guarantee the respect of stores norms in cleanliness and hygiene throughout the Beauty Centre
Profitability:
Optimize the productivity per hour:
Plan hours around turnover, sales, busy times and events based on performance and not seniority
Optimize inventory turnover:
Manage effectively the expense budget specified
Create awareness to optimize the inventory management and minimize shoplifting and internal theft
Ensure proper use and maintenance of the company equipment
Communication:
Act as a relay person between the Head Office and the Beauty Centre Team
Gather all communication from the Head Office and transmit appropriate information to the team in an efficient way
Plan, organize and conduct effective team meetings; minimum 1 meeting per month
Actively participate in monthly Manager meetings and transmit pertinent information back to the team
Communicate all feedback from customers and team regarding products, marketing etc. to the Regional Sales Manager
Complete all reports required in a timely manner
Inform the Regional Sales Manager of all serious situations requiring assistance
Business Development:
Inform the Regional Manager of changes and opportunities within the mall
Participate actively in monthly retailer meetings
Do cross promotions and sponsorship with other retailers
Respect and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures

1. Communication/Interaction: Capable of building a team by sharing information with staff. Maximizing the potential of employees by the delegating responsibilities. Capable of communicating individually and in a group. Ability to hold stimulating and productive meetings.
