IT Solutions Manager
Reporting to the IT Solutions Director located in Mooresville, North Carolina. The IT Solutions Manager is the primary point of contact to IT for the Canadian Business. This position provides a business customer advocacy role while sustaining strong working relationships and coordination with the IT organization located in the United States. The IT Solutions Manager is expected to maintain a high level of interaction and knowledge of the business while managing IT projects, resolving solution change requests and issues, and ensuring IT procedures, timelines and budgets are being met. You will provide management and technical guidance to the IT Technical Analyst in Toronto. You keep a watching brief on all application, server and communication usage by Toronto users, resolving issues and providing usage guidance. You escalate to IT support resources wherever required and act as a single point of accountability to Canadian management. You provide feedback on local service delivery to any affected IT function, including performance of local service and hardware suppliers. The ideal candidate will have experience acting as a local, cross-functional trouble-shooter with IT solution and infrastructure issues. You monitor physical security and continuity of telephony, server and communications services to Toronto office, and report and escalate to Computer Operations, Communications Services or ISG as necessary. Gather local requirements based on user feedback and observation of local workflow. The successful applicant will have experience acting as a daily point of contact for Merchandising and Store Support, and for the process owners in Marketing, Finance and HR on the effectiveness of application-supported workflows. Provide continuing education and information to the Toronto user community through daily interaction and through town hall and other information sessions. Maintain awareness of production activities, and be first point of contact for any support or technology issues. |
