Position: Tech Support (Level 2)
Location: Toronto
Salary: 55k
The person responsible for tier-2 service must have intimate knowledge of all first line skills. This person would be responsible for projects
and tasks involving Active Directory migration, Server Virtualization,active server monitoring, all common protocols and protocol level
troubleshooting, advanced Ethernet switching methodologies (VLAN, QoS,CoS), VPN technologies, networking (LAN/WAN) and networking hardware,
VoIP, Enterprise Security, Database technologies. This position demands knowledge at the intermediate to advanced level of the following :
Cisco networking/IOS
T1, PRI WAN technologies
Active Directory and LDAP
Exchange 2003
Checkpoint Firewall/VPN
Netscreen Devices
CISSP Preferrable (Security Professional)
Production Monitoring
Solaris/Unix/Linux/Windows OS
SQL
Scripting (VBS, VBA, Batch)
IBM Servers
Nortel Telephony
Mitel Telephony
Wireless Networking
Traffic Analyses
Network Design/Topologies
SNMP
Complex Troubleshooting
