Brand Experience Visual / Merchandise Expert - Gap- Hillcrest Mall
The Brand Experience Visual/Merchandise Expert oversees the flawless execution and maintenance of all windows and in-store visual displays. This expert supports the execution of the merchandise handling and replenishment processes and all aspects of visual presentation within the store. This expert maintains an organized stockroom. They work closely with store leadership to ensure Brand consistency while maintaining a positive customer experience. They train others in visual presentation and merchandise handling. The Brand Experience Visual/Merchandise Expert supports the leadership team in fostering a positive work environment by role modeling Gap Inc. Purpose, Values and Behaviors in all actions and interactions.
• Communicates daily goals and priorities to Brand Experience Associates.
• Trains, coaches and directs associates; communicates development feedback of others to the leadership team.
• Supports employee engagement by recognizing and rewarding outstanding performance.
• Provides on-the-job training to all employees on company initiatives and standards and ensures full understanding of company direction.
• Acts as the Leader on Duty as needed and consistently models the Brand service standard & sub-brand selling behaviors.
• Has up-to-date information on all current, seasonal merchandising and presentation information; works with store leadership team to create compelling in-store visual and merchandising presentations.
• Anticipates problems and finds creative solutions to visual presentation implementation challenges.
• Maintains store visual presentation standards based on business need and seasonal direction, including steaming, lighting, signage, marketing, floor moves and windows..
• Maintains brand integrity in all areas of visual display and styling.
• Meets all requirements of the Visual Presentation Assessment Tool.
• Assists in the planning, execution and mapping of the seasonal rollouts.
• Supports and ensures execution of all shipment receiving and processing procedures to floor ready standards.
• Performs stock transfers of damaged and defective merchandise, completes re-tickets and charge sends per company guidelines; executes markdowns in a timely and accurate manner.
• Executes merchandise flow and product placement.
• Assists in managing all store supplies including shipment supplies and fixtures.
• Ensures proper organization and maintenance of visual storage area; ensures all back room areas including bathrooms and employee break areas are cleaned regularly.
• Ensures deep cleaning of stores and fixtures are conducted as needed.
• Enforces all Loss Prevention policies, and communicates violations to the Leadership team or the Code of Business Conduct Hotline.
• Reviews and responds to all email and corporate visual communication daily. Ensures all StoreNet tasks are implemented.
• Ensures current marketing image and signage direction are implemented correctly.
• Ensures floor is replenished per company guidelines.
• Tracks productivity and ensures the team is meeting company standards for all Brand Experience tasks.
• Uses Field Merchandising Reports and recommends necessary product placement
• adjustments to store leadership team.
• Demonstrates Service-Based Selling behaviors while on the sales floor.
• Shares feedback from customers with leadership team to improve the overall customer experience.
• Participates and supports community involvement to drive Brand awareness and loyalty.
• Supports the Customer Experience Team in driving strong Customer Experience Survey results.
