Altus Dynamics is growing steadily and we are looking for friendly, talented, passionate people to join our team of software professionals working to deliver solutions for North American Non-Profit, Education and Public Sector organizations.
We are currently looking for energetic .NET Developers to join our team on short and long term contracts.
Responsibilities
This is a contract position based in Toronto, Ontario. This team develops business applications and extensions to business applications for Microsoft Dynamics, Microsoft SharePoint Services and MS SQL Server. Your role will be to focus on .NET and SharePoint-based development support for some existing applications as well as development of further enhancements and products. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Developing re-usable, efficient, scalable and maintainable code for ASP.net and SharePoint extended web application
• Creating performance-minded SQL queries for the applications
• Supporting and maintaining existing client systems
• Participating in periodic code reviews
• Occasional technical documentation
Requirements
The ideal candidate is a persistent, high energy professional with a minimum of 3 years experience. Successful candidates will be encouraged to be creative and interactive with both team members and customers and must have experience with ASP.net, C#, Web Services and security. Other requirements include:
• ASP.NET 2.0/3.5 (3+ yrs)
• SQL Server 2005/2008 (3+ yrs)
• C#.NET (3+ yrs)
• Good knowledge of JavaScript, CSS
• Experience building a 3-tier web application (3+ yrs)
• Web Services
• Knowledge of IIS
• Strong research ability and trouble-shooting skills
• Self-motivated and strive to write good, secure code
• Experience building SharePoint extended web applications, Custom Membership is highly desirable
• Experience with third-party controls such as Telerik is a bonus
• An eye for UI design is an asset
