Business Analyst - Lending/Credit
JOB TITLE: Business Analyst
JOB TYPE: Full-time (perm)
LOCATION: Toronto, Ontario
COMPENSATION: negotiable depending on experience
Candidates should have experience in the financial sector working with lending or credit products, or most ideal, PPSA -- Personal Property Security Act collateral registration.
• Accountable for the successful delivery of the client deliverables for Client Projects
• Develops and/or executes configuration planning and implementation plans
• Configuration of client products
• Contributes to other related technical project deliverables
• Configures the clients products using Configuration Work Packages to meet the business process needs of clients
• Contributes to the facilitation of both custom functionality design and product configuration design activities
• Prepares Configuration Work Packages for project implementations
• Helps facilitate client and project issue and risk management and resolution
Job Requirements:
• 2-5 years experience with software development, software development lifecycles, software deployment and implementation processes
• Candidates MUST have experience in the financial sector working with lending or credit products, or most ideal, PPSA -- Personal Property Security Act collateral registration.
• Looking for experience with lending origination/underwriting from a business functional perspective.
• Business specific knowledge of the Load/lending area.
• Working knowledge of Functional Analysis elicitation and documentation techniques.
• Ability to implement and manage complex product configuration within several of the clients Products
• Experience with writing SQL queries and PL/SQL procedures
• Working knowledge of systems architecture and design
• Ability to create and interpret detailed functional requirements and technical specifications
• Working knowledge of the full suite of Microsoft Office products (including Visio, Project, Outlook, Access, and PowerPoint).
