Customer Service Associate

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Process credit notes
• Do credit checks
• Manage all returned goods processes
• Set up, check, and maintain costing
• Set up and maintain customers
• Set up and maintain external customer databases
• Invoice customers
• Provide customer documentation (e.g., delivery slips)
• Audit order entry shipment list

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Relieve administrative coordinator for breaks and lunch periods
• Cover for administrative coordinator during extended absences
• Open office on Mondays at 6 a.m.
• Help develop and ensure compliance with company procedures
• Other customer support tasks as assigned

HEALTH AND SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Comply with the company’s Health and Safety Policy
• Keep alert to potential ergonomic hazards

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
• 1-2 years customer service experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication (written & oral) skills
• Good organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities
• Proactive
• Detail oriented
• Good critical thinking and problem solving abilities
• Sound judgment
• Good execution and follow through
• Post-secondary education
