Technical Support Engineer

They require young and energetic candidates with superior communication skills for external Customer support of their Industry leading software. Support will be phone and email based and the customers will be 80% US based. Some pre-sales activities may be required


Responsibilities:

Provide email and telephone based post-sales technical support (remote network logins) on the full suite of our software products
Investigate issues reported by customers, and communicate with internal product development team to resolve product issues
Assist pre-sales support team as required


Qualifications:

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good understanding of basic networking: TCP/IP, DMZ, IP addressing, subnet, connectivity, routers, firewalls etc.
Experience with SQL Server (SQL queries).
Be a strong team player (i.e. flexible, hard working, self-motivated, results oriented)
Strong problem solving abilities, candidates will be tested for their problem solving abilities in phone and on site interviews
Solid understanding of computer networking principles
Demonstrated success in related technical support area

Nice to Have Skills:

Knowledge of mobile computing space (Windows Mobile devices)
Knowledge of software technologies such as networking and databases
Knowledge of 802.11 (a/b/g/n) wireless networking protocols
