SharePoint Developer / Administrator
The Local Health Integration Networks (LHINs) were established by the Government of Ontario as community-based organizations to plan, co-ordinate, integrate and fund health care services at the local level to ensure a well coordinated system of health services.
The LHINs established a common service group, the LHIN Shared Services Office (LSSO). The LSSO is responsible for the provision of common services and programs to all fourteen (14) LHINs through a shared services model and a team of senior subject matter experts in the areas of finance, accounting, payroll, information technology, human resources, procurement and other shared, outsourced and/or commonly contracted services.
The LHINs are in the processes of implementing corporate systems such as SharePoint and CRM across 14 LHIN offices and require the assistance of a SharePoint Developer / Administrator to assist in the implementation, deployment and support of the application.

JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Manager, Information Technology and Project Management Office, this position has been created to assist the LHIN Shared Services Office with implementing high quality portal and document library solutions utilizing Microsoft’s SharePoint platform. The ideal candidate is a delivery focused individual that has expertise with the Microsoft software stack from design, build, deployment and configuration perspectives, working knowledge of creating, deploying, supporting and administering SharePoint sites, the ability to manage multiple deliverables in parallel, and is able to produce clear and concise technical documentation in a timely fashion.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
The SharePoint Developer / Administrator will:
Assist with the implementation and deployment of the SharePoint and CRM business solutions across 14 LHINs in the province of Ontario.
Provide guidance for the development of SharePoint document management features allow the organization to manage document lifecycles — how they are created, reviewed, published, secured, and consumed, and ultimately disposed of or retained.
Act as a Subject matter expert on SharePoint providing support and advice regarding configuration and deployment.
Provide on-going support to both the client and project resources during the duration of the project.
Assemble, analyze, and scope business and functional SharePoint intranet requirements in cooperation with users of the system and IT.
Produce system functionality documentation with associated skills such as process design, process mapping and data flow improvements as they relate to the implementation and use of the new systems.
Participate in project planning and status meetings, documenting outcome of project meetings.
Manage client relationships with client stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
Provide first and second level support to end-users regarding application configuration and design
Handle the ticket logging and troubleshooting of SharePoint applications
Manage and implement small fixes or enhancements to the SharePoint Intranet portal
Perform User Acceptance Testing of the application enhancements, SQL reports and data.
Execute on high level implementation plans, data and process models, cost estimating, cost benefits analysis, and return on investments.
Conduct SharePoint end user training as required to drive system utilization
Project Management and progress reporting as required
Job Requirements
REQUIRED LEVEL OF EDUCATION
Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or other related field
REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
5+years of hands-on development experience with Microsoft platforms
MS Office SharePoint Server (MOSS). Experience with customizing intranet and internet sites. Proficient with tools such as SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio Team System, etc
Experience with InfoPath 2007
Experience with Microsoft Active Directory
Working knowledge of virtualization technologies, specifically VMware products
Knowledge of corporate systems such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0
Demonstrated understanding of CRM schema; good knowledge of CRM entities, relationship between entities, built-in workflows.
Experience or knowledge of MS PerformancePoint Server 2007
Familiarity and use of MS .NET Framework
Microsoft SQL Server 2005+ - Advanced SQL expertise, be able to create and modify new reports
Application support experience is a must
Experience with systems delivery across multiple organizations or departments
Knowledge of Public Sector, Healthcare or Life Sciences industry
Background working on software development implementation teams either as part of a Systems Integrator, Software (product) house or large internal IT projects.
Demonstrated experience with Visio and MS Project
