Senior Project Manager
DESCRIPTION
• Convey strong client facing skills, and an acute understanding of consulting.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, outside partners, and team members.
• Provide strong leadership and team direction.
• Analyse business requirements to develop clear, accurate project plans and rigorously drive the development and implementation process to success.
• Lead and facilitate project related discussions, conduct effective team meetings, and make presentations to senior management.
• Clearly articulate complex project issues to clients and all levels of the organization, as necessary.
• Deliver sound and scalable integration solutions.
• Develop, compile and analyze pre-sales services requirements and assist with SOWs.
• Provide status reports to management and/or clients.
REQUIREMENTS
• 10+ years consulting experience in BPM.
• 5+ years experience with team leadership for large projects.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible instructional or subject work experience.
• Large systems experience, preferably with OS/390, and/or iSeries, and/or open systems.
• Project management experience and acute knowledge of web-based technology, EAI, ERP, CRM, and data warehouse implementations.
• Experience with project management tools and knowledge of System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies. SEI CMM methodology and experience within that model preferred.
• Possess the ability to summarize information into both quantitative and qualitative data.
• Excellent knowledge of consulting principles, practices and procedures.
• Knowledge of principles of BPM development.
• Knowledge of educational and training resources.
• Excellent knowledge of computer software applications.
• Highly developed written and oral communication skills and the demonstrated ability to employ these skills at all organizational levels.
• Excellent organizational skills, with an acute attention to detail
• Superlative interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or university with a major in project management, business analysis, computer science or related field.
ASSETS
• Experience with Metastorm BPM products.
• Project Management Professional (PMI) certification.
• Experience with Professional Services pre-sales activities, POCs, etc.
• MS Office Suite and MS Project |
