Senior QT Embedded Programmer
The company is looking for an experienced Low Level Embedded Software Developer to work with a dynamic team. In this role, the individual will be responsible for modification of the QT Embedded library to support OpenGL ES (1.1 and 2.0) rendering on embedded RTOS and Linux platforms. In this role you will be involved in the complete software development life cycle including: project planning, determining requirements and design, software development - coding, and working with our quality assurance team to verify and validate solutions according to customer requirements. Candidates must be able to work independently, show initiative, and demonstrate an ability to manage project deadlines, scope and requirements.
Required Skills:
• C / C++
• Extensive experience using the QT framework
• Extensive experience developing the QT framework
• Windows 2000/XP/CE, Linux, Apple Macintosh OS, as well as embedded operating systems (QNX, VxWorks, Integrity)
• Strong knowledge in 3D graphics technology (OpenGL ES 1.1 and 2.0)
• Experience in performance analysis of graphics pipeline
• Experience in 2D / 3D graphics, OpenGL ES, Audio, Video, or Game Software Development is an asset
• 10 to 15 years experience in professional software development
