Business Development Manager

50% US travel required, full-time, $130k + 30k bonus

DESCRIPTION
• Be responsible and accountable for meeting defined new business targets
• Work directly with Enterprise-level customers to ensure renewals are received in a timely manner
• Prepare business cases and ROI’s
• Provide accurate forecast on a monthly / quarterly basis against assigned key measurement targets for the team
• Work cross-functionally with the internal Sales, Finance, Operations, Engineering and Support organizations to ensure objectives and expectations are achieved
• Manages relationship with outside partners
• Assist with inside sales function including the overall process of receiving inbound daily leads, their assignment and follow up
• Lead a team of inside sales representatives to achieve measurable revenue generation within assigned territories and accounts
• Manage new customer establishment, lead management, reseller relations and sales tracking
• Create business plans, team development and other growth-oriented responsibilities
• Identify, create, build and execute effective programs to build a sales pipeline
• Approximately 50% US travel is required

REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 5 years sales management experience from a consulting environment
• Possess proven successful sales and management skills, including the ability to close high cost sale
• Multi-Channels model experience
• Experience with software license, services and/or maintenance renewal contracts
• Proven ability to identify the decision maker, overcome obstacles and identify target applications within the target markets
• Strong coaching and mentoring abilities

ASSETS
• Micro Focus Cobol and or mainframe experience
• Migration project experience
