Developer - New Media Gaming Team
Our client, a multimedia communications firm, requires a Developer for their New Media Gaming team. Reporting to the Creative Director, the selected candidate will work within the gaming development group to develop animated videos used for educational, entertainment, and marketing purposes. This is a six month contract with the possibility to convert to a permanent role. Typical projects consist of a mix of applications in Shockwave 3D with HAVOK, Flash, and interactive case studies running simple AI. Other projects include various developments, assisting in determining future technology roadmaps and platforms, and some R&D.
We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and experience: four years of senior level Flash programming AS2 experience; four years of remote data management experience; three years of database application development using C#, PHP, ASP, .NET, and SQL; and the ability to quickly learn new applications. Although not required, Macromedia experience, JavaScript experience, XNA experience, and DHTML experience are all strong assets. The selected candidate will demonstrate a passion for their work and will feel comfortable working in a team environment.
