Advisory to the Director of Technology
Our client is looking for an Advisory to the Director of Technology. This is an immediate three month contract that could become permanent for the right candidate. The selected candidate will be responsible for the direction, management, and integrity of company data, phone and video networks, applications, and web environments. This role will involve providing the vision which integrates the organization's mission, institutional goals, and information technology capabilities into an enterprise-class system.
This role requires a candidate with five years of leadership experience in a complex technology environment. Experience effectively articulating and implementing the institutional vision of organization-wide technology utilization and proven experience establishing co-operative relationships with other departments and affiliated organizations are required. The selected candidate will have experience communicating with senior management to help define the technology support required for major program initiatives. As this is a director-level position, it is expected that candidates will have had excellent hands-on exposure to all of the following technologies: Windows 2000 and 2003; SQL Server 2000; Multiview Access Software; Mac OSX; Active Directory; Network topologies; configuration of routers and switches; and the disaster recovery process from start point. Preference will be given to candidates with MCSE.
