Our client, a Dog Apparel and Design Company is currently hiring for an Inside Sales Representative. The ideal candidate will have exceptional prospecting skills with dynamic customer-centric personality that can provide our existing and potential new customers with top-notch service over the phone.
If you have experience in a "hunter" sales role then we would like to speak with you!
Responsibilities:
· Ability to make cold calls, Maintain existing accounts and generate new accounts
· Identify sales opportunities from campaigns, conference attendees, web contacts and by utilizing our prospect database.
· Responsible to generate new prospects, generate leads and support the overall efforts of the sales and marketing.
· Daily maintenance and management of sales database
· Point of first contact for clients
· Develop long term key business relationships
· Contact customers to discuss the client's business; explain and recommend products and to meet customer needs; prepares costing estimates (price sheets); and be able to initiate and close sales
· Maintain current knowledge of industry, competitive offerings, and emerging products,
· Identify, respond and resolve service, logistics or quality issues.
Qualifications
As the ideal candidate you have:
· Minimum of 2 years sales or marketing experience in consumer packaged goods industry– background in pet specialty preferred
· Must have outbound telesales experience - making 50 plus outbound sales calls per day
· An intense competitive spirit, good organization/planning skills, results and action-oriented.
· Strong interpersonal skills, clearly articulating product information to potential customers
· Can work with minimal supervision
· Demonstrated flexibility and initiative
· Consistent high performance against sales targets
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
