CONTRACT PROGRAMMER ROLE WITH BENEFACT
THE TASKS
Utilize Visual Studio 2008 to develop Web Applications, Web Services and Master Pages using ASP.NET, VB.NET, SQL, jQuery, AJAX and JavaScript.
Test applications, including security elements to ensure design objectives are met.
Assist in the development and production of reports for management and staff.
Assist in the documentation of applications and code to ensure ease of ongoing maintenance.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent technical degree or work experience.
minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience developing in ASP.NET and SQL Server.
2yrs database programming with SQL Server including the design of tables, stored procedures and views.
Thorough understanding of Object Oriented principles and design methodology.
Possess a working knowledge of Visual Studio 2008.
Highly motivated to produce quality work quickly.
Effective communication skills are essential.
Must have End User and Design Documentation Skills
HIGHLY DESIRABLE SKILLS:
Ability to create/modify tables, develop stored procedures and to develop views in SQL Server 2005.
Unified Modeling Language (UML)
.NET LINQ, Entity Framework -MS Office Interop, VA Script for Office TSQL,Stored Procedures, SQL Server 2008, Database Replication
Salesforce.com Application Development/Integration Experience
Digital Signatures, Digital Rights Management (DRM) Other security related technologies
