Web Developer
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain applications based on client requirements, while adhering to system standards and procedures.
• Analyze and develop program logic and scripts based on business rules and requirements.
• Programming, unit testing, system testing, implementing and providing support to users.
• Provide ongoing support by ensuring stability of the application and addressing and resolving business issues in a timely manner.
• Provide reference material by writing and maintaining user documentation, procedures and guidelines.
• Extensive travel across North America to support onsite equipment and registration solutions.
Qualifications:
• University or College computer related degree or equivalent from a technical school; or 2-3 years related experience and/or training.
• Development experience using Microsoft development tools, such as ASP, SQL Server 2000, and Visual Studio are required. COM+, ASP.NET, C# experience is not required but would be considered and asset.
• Demonstrated proficiency in all phases of systems development life cycle.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing technology and business requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate ideas and actions to people at all levels in the department
