Job Description - Systems Software Tester
POSITION SUMMARY
WebxTech is seeking a Software Tester to test Smart phone Web Based Applications.
Webx specializes in website optimization, web design, web development, web site reconstruction, custom graphics design, reliable web hosting, full web development and Mobile Phone Web based application testing.
Responsibilities:
Assisting with testing and bug fixing a real-time embedded Operating System.
Developing automated and manual tests, including creating test cases and test plans as required
Executing tests, generating test reports, and following-up on issues found during testing
Analyzing logs and source code to find the root cause of the problem
Training junior team members.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Knowledge of the C programming language
Software Quality Assurance experience, particularly test case development
Ability to dissect a problem and form solutions that meet real-time constraints
Capability of taking on responsibility for a substantial portion of a project
Ability to work independently to bring tasks to completion
Additional Assets:
Familiarity with C++, Assembly, or other programming languages
Experience with device drivers or communication protocols
Hands on experience with test tools and equipment e.g. Anite, Agilent
Understanding of mobile phone software and hardware architecture
A post secondary education in a related discipline
