SAP HR Functional Support Consultant
Atos Origin is currently seeking an experienced SAP HR Payroll/Time functional consultant to join our applications management team in Mississauga, ON. This is a non travel position (up to 10%), supporting a global client within the oil & gas industry. As part of an accomplished support group you will be working in an environment where knowledge sharing is valued and learning opportunities are provided.
The current environment is SAP 4.7, however and upgrade to ECC 6.0 is currently underway, the position covers both the US and Canada.
Responsibilities include: client interfacing, configuration, business analysis and design, creation of documentation to include, technical specifications, business cases, test cases and other SOX compliance requirements.
Job Requirements:
• SAP 4.7 (with global employment) experience (ECC6 upgrade is underway)
• US/Canada SAP payroll configuration knowledge / experience
• Strong knowledge in Time Management configuration, especially how to setup work schedules, absences, attendances, quota deduction, etc., as well as, time evaluation.
• General knowledge in payroll processing, check printing, trouble shooting and provide fixes on the timely basis. Also must have ability to create new wage types, and other related configuration work in payroll as well as have knowledge of US and Canadian taxes
• Knowledge of US/Canada payroll practices (development of schemas, rules, features functions, etc.)
•In-depth knowledge of posting with financials
• Time Management knowledge/experience
• BSI knowledge/experience is a plus
• Prior experience should include multiple SAP implementations and experience in a support role is desired, but not mandatory.
• Prior Oil & Gas or Chemical experience is a plus.
Additional Information
• Bachelors Degree, or equivalent commercial experience
• SAP HR-PR certification
• Travel Required - up to 10%.
