PHP/LAMP Developer
Small Web Design/IT company is looking to add another programmer to it's team. We work in a relaxed studio environment in downtown Toronto (Queen & Spadina area). Hours are flexible and partial time working from home can be arranged. Having said that, we work with absolute deadlines and meeting them is critical to a project's success.
Your responsibilities will be to assist in the design and development of new web applications and web sites. Additionally, maintenance and development of new features and bug-squashing for existing applications will also be a big part of your job. Good design techniques are required.
Job Requirements:
- Strong PHP (v5) skills and experience
- Strong relational database skills (MySQL, MSSQL, Postgresql, etc.)
- Understanding and strong grasp of Object Oriented Programming
- Strong HTML/CSS/Javascript skills and experience
- Decent graphic editing skills (ie experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
Proficiency with the following technologies would be helpful but not required:
ASP/ASP.net, Flash, XML, AJAX, Unix/Linux administration
Currently, we are looking to fill this position on a contractual basis, until such time that we are satisfied with the work being produced and a longer-term employment solution would be considered. The contract term will be 3 months.
