Production Supervisor
The Production Supervisor monitors operations of the production department to ensure that qualitative and quantitative measures included in the operating plan are met. Specific focus is on sanitation and quality results, health and safety, HACCP, good manufacturing practices and productivity. Other areas of focus are employee relations, production scheduling and staffing, cost reductions, liaising with our chemical supplier and customer satisfaction.
You have experience in quality assurance, HACCP, GMPs combined with strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills within a unionized environment. Experience with Lean Manufacturing and leading change would be considered an asset.
You are expected to promote and enhance a positive employee relation atmosphere including efforts to continuously improve teamwork and establish high levels of employee involvement.
Requirements:
College Diploma or University Degree in a relevant field;
Minimum of three (3) years experience as a supervisor with direct involvement in a unionized production facilityWorking knowledge of the administration of collective agreements;
Strong interpersonal, communication, leadership skills and the ability to work in a team;
