LAN/WAN Analyst
Our Client, a leading Food service company is looking to add an Intermediate/Senior WAN Analyst to their newly formed operations team.
The resource will report into the senior network manager
Our client is relocating from their present location (around airport) to a new office (Vaughan/7) and will also simultaneously be creating a new data centre and DRP site (Ellesmere/401). This resource will assist with this move and once the DRP site is built will become the site lead at the DRP site (401/Ellesmere). This is all to occur before Oct 2008. The resource will be required to be at the current head office and lead the build of the DRP site, they will then be responsible to work and manage the DRP site going forward.
They must have a strong Nortel WAN background, experience working with Cisco products would also be an asset.
This resource will provide support on all networking issues relating to their newly implemented Nortel/Checkpoint environment.
At present 1200 store locations and 1200 internal users are supported with the current data centre. Each store is outfitted with a Nortel BCM box (Router/PBX combination) which connects to a central data centre. At present the stores use Cisco Series 2811 routers.
They should have experience logging into routers, troubleshooting, configuring, various protocols
