OBIEE with Hyperion
Length: 3 months
Location: Toronto, Canada (1 position) and NYC, NY
Pay Rate: Competitive
Specific responsibilities include:
* Designs & Develops OBI Metadata/Logical Data Model
* Translates BI requirements into analytics BI subject areas
* Designs & Develops OBIEE user interface objects (e.g. reports, dashboard, BI work flow, etc.)
* Coordinates and collaborates with data model architect and DBAs & development team to:
* Design & develop a data warehouse model
* Determine whether measure calculations and processing should be done in ETL or metadata
* Determine requirements for aggregate tables
* Define BI application and data security model
* Works with customers to understand and develop reporting and BI requirements as part of implementation services.
* Develops rich internet applications and OBIEE components as portlets for integration in a portal environment.
* Estimates OBIEE development, project and support efforts
* Coordinates a team of outsourced developers on Oracle BI development
* Communicates design, build and test effort progress and issues to management
Qualifications
We are looking for motivated individual developers with hands-on software development knowledge and 3+ years of work experience with a focus on the following areas:
* Hands-on experience with OBIEE or OBI standard edition is required.
* Hands-on experience with one or more of Oracle*s reporting, publishing and data analysis tools - Oracle Discoverer, Report Manager, DBI, Hyperion, Oracle Portal, XML Publisher, BI Views, Oracle Reports.
* Strong core experience in designing and publishing data marts to support business process analysis.
* Experience with Oracle Warehouse Builder and concepts such as ETL process, metadata layers, cube organization of data and dimensions. |
