Adobe Flex Senior Programmer
Parallel World Labs, Inc. specializes in the creation of unique industry-specific Virtual Worlds software and experiences. Successful applicants will be involved in a music-focused multi-user Virtual World project currently funded and under development. Our tools and environments are designed to amplify creative expression in virtual worlds.
We have an immediate opening for the following position:
Required Skills:
• You have superior written and verbal communications skills
• You are a team player and doing high quality work is extremely important to you
• You are able to think and act independently and present your ideas in an articulate
manner to a business, users or technical audience
• You adapt quickly to change
• You bring a positive, self-starter attitude to your work, respect others, and value fun
and results
Technical Qualifications:
• University or college degree in computer science
• 5 years Adobe Flex programming experience
• Good command of Flex Builder 3 and Action Script 3
• Understanding and experience implementing User Interface in Flex
Builder 3, Flash UI building experience is a definite asset
• Web services and XML
Working Conditions:
• Ability to work independently in a small development group with minimum supervision
• Reporting to Director of R&D
• Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada
• Salary range commensurate with skill and experience
• Located in Toronto or GTA preferred (some tele-work may be possible)
