Description
You have a deep understanding and passion for the interactive world. You don’t think small, but you love details. You know what the following acronyms stand for: HTML, PIPEDA, BDU, MMORPG, PVR, UGC and SMS. You are the project manager of project managers. You can restructure projects and timelines in a continuously evolving project landscape. You have a wealth of expertise in online contests. Your name has appeared on at least one high score game list and you have an active blog or you’re on Facebook and LinkedIn. You’re out of the closet gamer who would never miss an episode of Robot Chicken. Sense of humour required.

Responsibilities:
• Provide project prioritization and scheduling following web project management methodology on the web sites of TELETOON, Detour, teletoonatnight, Retro and Corporate.
• Build effective and positive relationships with all internal and external clients through outstanding communication skills. Act as a single point of contact for all assigned projects.
• Prepare detailed production schedules with resource and project forecasting to key stakeholders for all projects both internal and external to the department.
• Provide comprehensive work back schedules for all projects and supervise their execution
• Work with the Sales Promotions department to oversee development and execution of all promotions in the interactive space (i.e., online, mobile, within games)
• Optimization of cross-departmental production processes specifically related to interactive development, including recommendations on tools and roll out plan.
• Analyze and allocate internal and external resources to meet department’s priorities and maximize revenue targets. Determine if there are the required resources and budget to successfully complete any given project.
• Keep track of departmental production cost and resources and report to Director.
• Work closely with Technical Manager and Manager of Content and assist Director in establishing company's short and long term web site strategy and goals.
• Present recommendations on SEO.
• Maintain Quality Assurance on all projects in addition to do weekly QA check all TELETOON web properties.
• Ability to thoroughly analyze, create and implement successful projects.
• Very organized, self-disciplined individual will work closely with the Manager of Content and the Technical Manager to ensure that all department priorities are being met with efficiency.
• Anti-theft monitoring, search for teletoon.com content being used illegally on external sites.
• Assist in providing sales promotion creative solutions to come up with best possible interactive product.
• All other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• College or University Degree or PM certification
• 3+ years of experience in a broadcast environment
• 5+ years of experience in a high paced interactive environment
• 5+ years of experience in an interactive project management role
• Superior project management skills
• Management experience supervising and coaching employees
• Concise, clear and impeccable communications skills
• Understanding of the dynamics of a collaborative work environment.
• Self starter with exceptional organizational, documentation, interpersonal and communication skills
• English and French is a major asset
• Sense of humour and a passion for the world of animation
Technical Knowledge:
• MS Office suite
• Knowledge of streaming video formats
• Knowledge of Flash, XML, Fireworks, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, ftp/filezilla
• Major browsers including MSIE and Firefox, Chrome, Safari,
• MS Project, Basecamp and/or other web project management software
