Assistant Developer

Responsibilities:
• Support the technical implementation of Sales Promotions contest micro-site and features.
• Work with interactive team to ensure innovative and templated components are developed.
• Meet all deadlines and work back schedules for sales promotions.
• Research, advise and recommend technical solutions for all online media initiatives, where required.
• Work with interactive team to design and develop strategies for building sales promotions and marketing user activities with a focus on templates approach, re-using components and standardizing applications. Implement where required.
• Develop, deploy and test production of Flash, Flash Action Script and PHP programming while providing meticulous code commentary, and technical documentation where required.
• Work with Interactive team to design, develop, and deploy XML and database schema to power TELETOON related web sites as efficiently as possible while maintaining database content to ensure best use of server resources.
• Work with Interactive team to develop, deploy, test production of Flash games specific to sales promotion initiatives for TELETOON websites, following the general game development guidelines.
• Help maintain organized file structures to ensure efficient use of resources.
• Work with Communications and Sales Promotions on TELETOON social networking site profiles w/ new content links that help drive traffic back to main sites
• Assist, where required, with the technical development of new and updated site applications/features.
• Develop and assist in the development, quality assurance (QA) and deployment of web-based applications including Flash Action Script and PHP driven games, multimedia tools, mySQL/PHP/XML data-driven end-user modules for TELETOON related web sites .
• Assist in running ad serving software to ensure accurate, timely and technically sound site ad placements and statistics generation for both internal and external clients.
• Assist, where required, with ongoing site maintenance tasks.
• Other duties as required.
