IIS Administrator
Our client is a digital media firm located in Hamilton and they are seeking an IIS Administrator/Integrator to join their team on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
• Planning, executing, and managing the deployment of new applications and upgrades
• Ensuring that projects meet business requirements and goals and fulfill end-user requirements
• Able to identify and resolve systems issues
• Orchestrating products and strategies between business units and associated teams
• Collaborating with vendors, analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing of applications to ensure quality control
• Leading integration testing phase of applications under development in order to identify and remedy potential problem areas
• Develop and document standards and processes to support projects and initiatives
• Supporting production applications as the first level support team
• Where necessary, provide guidance to junior members of the team
• On-call availability is required (pager rotation is shared amongst team members)
Qualifications:
• 4-year college diploma or University degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and/or 3 years’ equivalent work experience
• 2 years’ direct experience in enterprise-level application integration
• Proven experience in overseeing the linking of cross-functional applications between disparate business units and systems
• Technically fluent in modern programming languages and methodology
• Direct, hands-on experience with automated quality control tools
• Outstanding writing and documentation skills
• Excellent oral and interpersonal communication skills
