POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking an individual to oversee Surrey Place Centre’s internal and external websites, within a SharePoint 2007 environment.

Key responsibilities will include: providing end user support for SharePoint based applications, overseeing all SharePoint environments, performing site modifications and enhancements with minimal direction, providing technical support for SharePoint related development projects, training and coaching system users and other Technology Service staff on various system functions, and preparing monthly utilization reporting.

Qualifications for this position include a certificate or degree in Information Systems or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience with preference given to those holding current MCSE certification or currently in the process of completing related courses/exams. The successful candidate must have knowledge of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server, Windows SharePoint Services, SQL, Windows Server 2003, Active Directory, Windows Load Balancing, and DNS, strong knowledge of Windows architecture, deployment considerations, and structured development methodologies, and proven experience in designing, developing and maintaining SharePoint Sites with knowledge of using Adobe Suite.

You must also have excellent problem solving, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, and the ability and proven experience to work effectively in a team environment.
