Functional Specialist SAP Plant Maintenance
Excellent opportunity for a specialist in the SAP Plant Maintenance module to work for one of the world’s largest uranium producers and a major player in the nuclear fuel industry.
POSITION OVERVIEW
As part of the Business Process and Applications team, the Functional Specialist, SAP Plant Maintenance will be responsible for supporting and enabling the company’s maintenance business processes using the SAP plant maintenance module and other plant maintenance (PM) related applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Assist end-users in the execution of business processes and transactions
•Resolve functional and system problems reported via corporate incident system
•Maintain and improve application functionality for PM users using established change procedures
•Support and/or manage the implementation of enhancements and small projects taken on by the business process team
•Test and implement PM-related application fixes, upgrades and enhancements using established change procedures
•Some travel required
REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
•Prior functional experience in a maintenance role related to planning, scheduling and execution of maintenance work using a CMMS in a reliability-centric environment is a definite asset
•Strong technical knowledge of SAP Plant Maintenance application functionality combined with sound understanding of business process requirements of maintenance user groups; must have had experience in a sustainment role
•SAP certification as a solution consultant for the PLM-PM area is ideal but not an absolute
•Working knowledge of related modules such as materials management and quality management is an asset
•Must be experienced in business process development and technical configuration, working within a change control environment
•Excellent analytical, problem solving and project management skills
•Comfortable being proactive in a training and coaching capacity and in developing new business processes
•Highly organized with demonstrated ability to multi-task; Thrives in a fast-paced work environment of continuous improvement
•Forward thinking; Flexible and adaptive; Team player
