PHP/LAMP developer
Position: Freelance LAMP (PHP) Developer (freelance independents only)
Position Type: 3-6 month contract with possibility of full-time employment.
Location: Remote (you work from home) with the occasional Mississauga meeting.

The candidate should:
* have 3+ years PHP development experience,
* be able to work independently with minimal direction,
* be proactive and results-oriented,
* have good interpersonal skills,
* have experience developing, maintaining and enhancing MySQL databases,
* have extensive experience developing with CSS, Javascript, Ajax and DHTML,
* have strong knowledge of OOP design and principles, and
* have excellent oral and written communication skills.

In addition, it would be helpful if the candidate had experience with:
* working in a Linux environment,
* developing in the php symfony (or ruby on rails) development framework,
* XML/XSLT

It would be most helpful, if your resume included details of commercial-quality/public-facing PHP/MySQL websites you have developed with links, please make sure you give accurate details as to your involvement in each project.
