Position: Food and Beverage Senior Manger. Job Description.
The main responsibilities of the role will be to plan, manage and control the entire scope of this busy establishment and meeting F&B business objectives of Sales / Revenues targets while minimizing costs and maintaining standards.
Providing the best food services efficiently, effectively and economically is a significant corporate commitment. The responsibilities of the Senior F&B Manager are not only to ensure smooth operations and setting customer service standards to ensure that highest quality and standards are being provided.
Interview, hire, train, and when necessary, fire employees. Retaining good employees is a major component of this position.
Recruit employees at career fairs, contact schools that offer academic programs in hospitality or culinary arts, and arrange for advertising to attract additional applicants. Oversee the training of new employees.
Schedule work hours, making sure that enough workers are present to cover each shift.
Candidate must be reliable, show initiative, and have leadership qualities. Other qualities are good problem-solving skills and the ability to concentrate on details.
Must be a good communicator. Comfortable dealing with customers, employees, and suppliers for most of the day. Must be able to motivate employees to work as a team, to ensure that food and service meet appropriate standards. Additionally, the ability to speak multiple languages is helpful to communicate with staff and patrons
Minimum Qualification: Extensive knowledge in Food and Beverage Management, HR experience, knowledge of sales, marketing and accounting.
Skills: Should have excellent communication skills, interpersonal relations and international networking. Should be task oriented with excellent hotel and catering background and experience. Should be highly motivated, a team leader with good organizing skills.
Experience: Total 8 years of experience with a minimum 5 years in a managerial position in any comparable industry.
Salary: $60,000 per annum
