CANDIDATE PROFILE
Working under the supervision of the Webmaster, the successful candidate will have general knowledge and sound experience in web practices with a strong emphasis on web maintenance and design. This is a 6 month contract position with the possibility of renewal.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Update content of IBC web properties, including intranet and extranet.
• Find and update missing or out-of-date content.
• Fix broken links and other minor errors.
• Assist in all scripting and development of online forms etc.
• Assist in design for presentation-level content, marketing campaigns and other web solutions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with the various regional offices and internal divisions to update content.
• Respond in a timely manner to webmaster queries.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Keep up-to-date on the latest web technology trends.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Post secondary diploma in web related field (web design, web development etc.).
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Proficiency in Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator
• Experience in web design, development and maintenance.
• A team player, with a commitment to providing quality customer service in a timely manner.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Bilingualism (French and English), knowledge of MS CMS, Active Directory, Flash, ASP, XML are considered assets.
