Account Executive - Corporate Learning

The TekSource Corporate Learning Centre Account Executive will be responsible for the ongoing development of new business and for growing and enhancing strategic client relationships within our existing accounts. In this capacity, the Account Executive will work directly with our corporate sector clients, service team and senior management team to effectively sell our training services and learning solutions.
Note: Preference will be given to applicants with direct experience selling corporate education or adjacent industries

Responsibilities:
- Contacts and visits accounts to determine needs.
- Creates and performs sales presentations to match the Corporate Learning services with identified needs and address client issues and objections.
- Sells training services through face-to-face contact.
- Remains knowledgeable of company's products/services lines to facilitate sales efforts.
- Maintains a regular schedule of contact via phone/client-site visits.
- Alerts client to new or improved products/services.
- Engages in relationship building and networking activities to develop additional sales opportunities.
- Provides feedback to development team on customer requirements and business opportunities.
- Works seamlessly with development and customer service team to ensure quality service delivery and effective implementation of training services at the learning centre or client site.
- Develops account plans and sales strategies that will ensure profitable business growth.
- Collaborates with colleagues to determine effective sales techniques.
- Determines ways to differentiate from competitors.
- Develops and enhances business relationships with existing customers to maximize account penetration and customer satisfaction.
- Assists marketing with design and promotional strategies.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years major account management experience with successful direct sales experience in corporate education or adjacent industries and the ability to position all lines of business.
- Post secondary education preferably in information technology.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
- Outstanding analytical, problem-solving skills, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and motivational abilities
- Ability to negotiate contracts and design customer-based agreements
- Established network of contacts in the in the corporate training industry for sales opportunities
- Ability to identify and meet with key decisions makers, nurture client relationships, use complex influence strategies to gain support and convert prospects into customers
- Ability to provide seasoned advice to clients by anticipating needs and concerns, providing input on business challenges issues and path/solution for addressing them
- Effective interpersonal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively to achieve team and organizational goals
- Superior written communication skills, including experience with proposal writing and presentation building
- Entrepreneurial drive, strong work ethic and passion for sales
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CRM tools
