A/V Installation Technician
The Installation Technician performs audio/visual equipment installations in accordance with service contracts and attends to technical service requests.
Install audio/visual equipment:
Obtain project requirements, and instructions and participate in all site visits
Inspect videoconferencing equipment received by client
Perform cable and equipment installations
Test equipment and perform tuning adjustments
Download system control programs
See to the tidiness of the work area
Instruct clients on equipment use and asses their satisfaction level
Complete work orders and distribute copies to appropriate parties according to Company procedures
Prepare Sign-Off forms
Provide technical support to customers:
Address customer inquiries regarding the functioning of their system
Deal with service tickets that have been created by Customer Service Coordinator
Offer troubleshooting service by phone or on-site at client
Qualifications:
DEC in Electronics
2 years experience in a similar position within the Videoconferencing/audio-visual industry
Experience in installing audio/visual equipment and systems
Experience in programming control systems
Strong customer service orientation
Knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio and AutoCAD
Manual dexterity
Technical Certification(s) (asset)

Strong communication (oral and written)
Bilingual (French and English) an asset
