Front End Developer/ Interactive Designer

Job Description
Reporting to the creative director, this person will liaise closely with graphic designers, the development team, project managers and other team members by implementing websites, user interfaces designs, RIAs, Flash assets, games, presentations and other communication vehicles that span a wide variety of projects and clients.
The role of a Senior Production Specialist is to:
• Bring designs to life using Flash, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript and other front-end web technologies
• To act as a bridge between the creative and development teams
• Serve as a mentor and role-model for other members of the production team
• Shape best practices and standards for the production team
• Recommend solutions and technologies that are appropriate to the project and audience at hand
• Ensure that projects are completed on time and on budget
• Help maintain the work that Marketlink has created
Mandatory Experience and Skills
• High level of competency in XHTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience implementing websites using .Net and Master Pages
• Strong understanding of web standards, accessibility and best practices
• Intimate knowledge of Flash and Action Script 3.0
• Experience using jQuery JavaScript library
• Knowledge of ASP, ASP.Net, XML, AJAX
• Demonstrable experience in Adobe Photoshop
• A creative mind that can help turn great ideas into great finished products
• Critical thinking that adds value throughout the entire life-span of a project
• Strong communication and time-management skills
Desirable Experience and Skills
• 5 or more years of working experience
• An high degree of knowledge about the internet, internet applications and online campaigns
• Understanding of implementation and customization of various .Net Components
• Knowledge of Microsoft Silverlight
• Experience in Audio/Video Production
Educational Requirements
• Formal web development training or equivalent work experience.
