Web Programmer
Primary Responsibilities:
- Primary objective will be to manage and maintain an online store for internal and client use.
- Manage online shopping cart
- Monthly site audits and weekly traffic analysis
- Provide site support to staff to ensure effective content updating and maintenance
- Attend regular web content meetings
- Assist the growth and maintenance of website membership lists through monthly newsletters, visitor support and promotional offerings
- Produce a consistent visual image on the site by promoting uniform fonts, icons, images and layout techniques that support the brand
- Analyzing and troubleshooting technical problems
- Creative ability to convert business objectives into professional web content
- Other projects as requested
- Program an inventory management system
- Write programs to help automate tasks
Skills Necessary:
- Minimum 2 years experience in web programmer
- Must have a diploma/degree and related work experience
- Web-based marketing/advertising experience an asset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a faced paced environment
- Creative web design skills
- Payment gateway knowledge
- Database development |
