Job Description
You will be in charge of the certification of terminals of the Operator’s portfolio; to test and certify the correct interaction between terminals and Network, VAS Platforms, SIM cards, in order to guarantee the correct operation of the Operator’s services with the terminals certified.
You should also have good knowledge and experience in problem analysis, troubleshooting, being able to read and understand traces taken from Network, VAS Platforms, SIM cards tracers as well as knowledge of network implementations and related tools to execute tests in test plant environments.
• Act as key interface with terminals suppliers.
• Responsible for terminals testing and certification and setting the testing procedures and test bed for handsets and terminals.
• Manage handset roadmap development activities.
• Negotiate appropriate level of customization on handset platforms along with aggressive market prices for Wind Hellas.
• Lead gathering of competitive handset information (pricing, features, launch) for all types of terminals.
• Keep up to date with the latest technologies and roadmaps in regards to terminals along with the overlook for the global terminals strategies.
Key Accountabilities
Operational processes
• Own the terminals testing and certification end-to-end process, and manage the terminals review according to the approved business plans.
• Continuously improve and enhance the terminals testing plans and procedures.
• Coordinate between different departments (Commercial, Procurement …etc) for in-portfolio terminals technical readiness to adjust launch dates.
• Actively participate in selecting developing and testing the different services and clients to enhance the handsets offering.
• Review of terminals plans and forecasts.
Market analysis & synthesis
• Provide insight based on analysis of different needs, competition trends market, technology, service trends and in-market data to derive guidelines for the terminals strategy.
• Identification of new areas for focus and further development for the terminals portfolio.
• Propose terminals guidance in respect of opportunities for future marketing plans. |
