NOC Manager
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a SAAS application architecture including redundant servers and access with extremely high availability infrastructure
- Develop and implement new strategies for providing a better infrastructure solution
- Continue the development evolution of the Network Operations Center
- Manage 3rd party data center providers
- Ability to manage a global infrastructure and support response team 24 x 7 x 365
- Responsibility for 3rd level infrastructure support
- Responsible for the development and production of performance and capacity metrics
- Maintain and enhance the monitoring strategy for the supported platforms
Skills Required:
- Hands-on, easy going and respectful management style.
- Strong project management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must
- Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
- Demonstrate experience working cooperatively with diverse technology teams
- Strong business, people, and customer facing acumen
- Knowledge of networking equipment and production servers
- Knowledge of IIS, Windows Server, UNIX, and SQL
- Wide range of technology exposure to many different technologies
- Proven track record of working in fast paced fiscally responsible environments
- Knowledge of French is an asset
Experience/Education:
- 5-7 years experience in network management or telecommunications experience and/or previous experience with high technology networks with at least 2 years of that being Network Operations Center management
- Graduate degree in computers is preferred
