Bi-Lingual Recruiter (English/French)
The Territory Recruiter will be to perform full life cycle recruiting for positions, in a timely, cost-effective manner for positions within Canada. They will also research and recommend additional recruitment tools, provide recruitment support to all the Hiring Managers within Canada. On an as needed basis, they will provide recruitment support for other key positions within the company. The Recruiter will also work with the HR Managers to identify and implement effective recruitment metrics (qualitative and quantitative) and activity tracking. There will be a strong focus on sourcing passive candidates through networking, cold calling, complex internet searches and research.
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
• Source candidates, conduct preliminary interviews and determine suitability of candidates for employment with Iron Mountain.
• Perform reference checks.
• Determine cost-effective recruitment strategies, counsel and recommend best strategies to Hiring Managers.
• Manage the requisition and recruitment process for identified roles within assigned area.
• Regularly report headcount, openings, status and costs associated with recruitment efforts.
• Works with field management to ensure understanding of current and future workforce needs.
• Update and maintain all job postings (internal & external).
• Collects and analyzes HR data on recruitment activities, applicant flow, interviews, hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
• Develops sources of qualified applicants, screens applicants, schedules and conducts interviews, administers tests, checks references and background, and evaluates applicant qualifications.
• Develops and maintains contacts with educational institutions, employment agencies, placement firms, and other sources of applicants
• Develops and manages on-campus and off-site recruitment programs including job fairs, trade shows, and media presence.
Experience, Education and Skills:
• Bachelors degree/diploma in Human Resources with a minimum of 3 years recruitment experience in a service or operations industry.
• Must possess excellent verbal communication skills and have the ability to work with all levels in the organization.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong base knowledge of employment law as it relates to Interviewing & Selection.
• Demonstrated ability of developing cost-effective recruitment strategies.
• Ability to travel when required.
Bilingualism (English/French) is a requirement.
