Customer Supply Chain Manager - 6 Month Contract

Global Supply Chain is made up of dedicated Manufacturing, Customer Service, Logistics and Procurement professionals. A critical member of the Global Supply Chain team is the Customer Supply Chain Manager (CSCM), who is responsible for the overall day to day operations of the Customer Supply Chain team and the health of Supply Chain accounts. In addition, the CSCM is the Supply Chain’s strategic partner to the Kraft Customer Business teams (CBT’s) (i.e. sales organization).
This role will challenge your process management, process improvement, and functional Account maintenance expertise on a daily basis, as you lead a Customer Supply Chain team in both the total order management cycle and the overall health of the account receivables. You will oversee key functions such as customer receivables for invoices and deductions, compliance to Efficient Replenishment Programs, ensuring processes and objectives are adhered to and maintained within target at all times.
As a strategic partner of the CBT, you will leverage your expertise and knowledge of the supply chain world by providing customer insights and customer intelligence to build the most innovative and customer-centric partnership. You will further develop innovative thinking, influencing and decision making skills by developing ideas and programs within the company guidelines to incent customers differently. Additionally, the CSCM will participate in the development and execution of strategic supply chain collaboration with all key customers. You will be a valued as a true strategic, one-stop partner to the CBT.
Accountabilities
• Educate and provide ongoing support to Customer Supply Chain team on efficient replenishment program components and improvements
• Support Customer Business Team as Efficient Replenishment Expert, providing feedback on business teams specific needs and potential future program development opportunities
• Create team specific measures as aligned to CBT’s for order and pricing accuracy
• Monitor and improve business processes related to data integrity received and communicated to customers
• Participate in carrier reviews, providing feedback to both carrier and Transportation Manager
• Reduce total Supply Chain costs
• Improve levels of EDI transactions for both order and invoice purposes
• Increase volume shipping to region via DPS
• Monitor performance within deduction guidelines to ensure deductions are being managed within the timeframe outlined and any barriers for maintaining the guidelines are addressed
• Initiate interaction with customer to look for ways to reduce invalid deductions and incidents of occurrence
• Work with Sales Audit & Credit team to understand and address any issues detected from audit findings and ensure corrected through process improvements
• Support sales team in development and implementation of strategic volume initiatives
• Participate in Customer business reviews, presenting CSC scorecards and other applicable measures. Taking the lead on internal or external customer business reviews and providing council on CSC Programs and activities
• In support of Kraft’s growth agenda, will work with Director Customer Service, cross functional Supply Chain leads and Customers in developing and executing strategic supply chain initiatives
• Responsible for specific CBT team and individual training and development
• Design projects to improve team development, internal processes and systems, communication and tools will be assigned to CSCM from time to time. Research, develop and deploy project specific communication to peer CSCM’s and teams for implementation.
Education and Qualifications
• University Degree in Business
• 10 years + experience in the Supply Chain profession
• Wide Knowledge of Manufacturing, Logistics and Financial Operations
• Wide knowledge of Supply Chain Best Practices
• Superior communication skills/change management skills |
