Job Description
We are seeking a Build and Source Code Manager to join our growing team of software professionals. This opportunity is a exciting opportunity for a key software development professional with a solid understanding of team management, distributed source code version control, and continuous integration best practices in a mixed .NET, C++, and Java environment. The Build Manager position will contribute directly to the selection, customization, and development of build tools, and will work closely with other software developers to improve build, continuous integration, and source code management practices.

Responsibilities:
• Understand all the company’s products
• Take charge of software configuration, version control and software releases
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of build tools
• Create and maintain environments, programs and scripts to automate build creation
• Generate and manage builds and the release process
• Configure, track, and report on the build process on multiple parallel projects, products, and platforms
• Integrate build and test processes on the above projects, products, and platforms
• Have a complete understanding of the status of every project
• Prepare and present release notes, and hold the organization accountable for delivery of useful release information
• Understand the deployment process for the company’s products and platforms

Key Qualifications and Competencies:
• Minimum two-years of configuration management experience.
• Knowledge of Java and C# is required; C++ is a bonus.
• Experience with distributed source control tools, preferably Mercurial and Kiln, is required.
• Experience with development tools (Netbeans and Visual Studio) is required.
• Experience with scripted build engines, including MS-Build and Nant or Ant, is required.
• Experience using Microsoft Windows, Linux, and virtualization in a software development is required
• Experience with continuous integration tools, specifically Cruise Control, is required.
• Experience with other continuous integration tools, such as Hudson, is a bonus.
• Experience with agile development methodologies as a key contributor

You should possess significant experience and a degree in computer science or a closely related area.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Hands on and ‘quiet technical authoritative expertise’ in a team environment
• Familiarity with contemporary software design best practices
• Motivation and time management skills
• Passion for new technologies and attention to detail
