Systems Analysts/Support (Financial Firm)
Major investment firm is seeking a number of Systems Analysts to help with technical support, systems maintenance and systems development of their growing Capital markets businesses. Duties will include:
-Analyze, design & specify technical solutions to meet business requirements and project life cycle deliverables
-Coordinate design phases for projects/programs, identifying, tracking and resolving technical issues.
-Organize and participate in walkthrough reviews of all technical specifications, programs and unit test plans.
-Coordinate and provide input to DBA in modifying existing database structures
REQUIREMENTS
-Experience with different testing tools (e.g. Beyond Compare)
-Experience with design techniques (e.g. OO. Top-down, structured analysis, component-based design) and tools (e.g. Rational Rose, etc.)
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Experience with Capital Markets Operations or Finance environment
-Knowledge of fixed income financial products and derivatives
-Familiar with .NET/C#/VB6/C++/Sybase
Strong knowledge of IT Standards, Methodologies, CMM & audit requirements
