Web Developer
The web developer position requires an individual that is quite familiar and experienced with primary web technologies. Your primary responsibility is to modify and build web sites, intranets and various other web-based solutions for existing installations as well as new projects. Secondary tasks may include assistance with design, technical support, and documentation. You will report to the senior developer, who will provide you direction (ranging from general to specific) on each project with which you are tasked.
Requirements:
> Strong knowledge and experience with web development utilizing JSP, Javascript, PHP, CSS, XHTML and Java Servlets
> Must have completed a university/college degree and have at least 2 years of elevant experience and references.
> Familiarity and experienced with databases such as MySQL and MS-SQL.
> Comfortable with high-level relational design, SQL query authoring and optimization.
> Must be able to identify and resolve scripting compatibility issues between different browsers.
> Ability to understand and contribute to functional requirements and translate them into technical design and development projects.
> Ability to clearly document features, technical specifications, and other requirements for produced technical work.
> Candidate must be self-sufficient and have very good English oral and written communications skills.
Other Information:
Office hours are weekdays from 9 to 5. Our office is an open-concept loft space located in the Weston Rd. and St. Clair area. Qualified candidates will be asked to attend an interview within 2 days of being notified. The successful Candidate must be able to start within 2 weeks.
