Medisys Health Group is a leading Canadian provider of healthcare and medical imaging services to corporations and individuals and health-related underwriting support services to insurance companies. Through its national network of facilities, including offices in Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver, Medisys’ corporate health services division delivers preventive, diagnostic and consultative healthcare services to approximately 4,000 corporations, including 320 companies of the Financial Post 500.
We are currently seeking an energetic, organized and proactive individual to join one of our Toronto clinic locations.
POSITION SUMMARY
The file clerk provides administrative and clerical support to the medical imaging office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Ensure that all films are filed properly in a timely manner
2. To pull files on a daily basis as requested by all staff in the department
3. To organize the filing and consistently review to ensure all films are properly filed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• High school diploma and/or a specialized training course, or equivalent
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience (medical office experience preferred)
• Attention to detail and taking pride in your work
• Highly organized and able to prioritize workload
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and to plan ahead
• Able to work well both as a team player and independently
